These terms apply to your use of the Granny Flat Quotes website and any property check or assessment you submit through it.

Property checks are preliminary

The information we provide is assembled from available data sources and is a starting point only. It is not planning, engineering, legal or building advice. You should always confirm the position for your property with the relevant council and qualified professionals before proceeding.

Project Starter purchase

The Granny Flat Project Starter is a digital project-preparation and matching service priced at NZ$99 unless another price is clearly displayed before checkout. The package is allocated internally as $49 for the personalised digital report and $50 for active builder matching. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your complete card details.

The report is supplied when it is generated from the property data and information you provide. If, after you separately authorise builder matching, we cannot identify and approach at least one potentially suitable provider serving your territory within seven working days, you may request review of the $50 matching component. A lack of quotes or a decision not to proceed does not by itself mean the service was not supplied. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under New Zealand consumer law.

Specialist matching

Builder matching requires a separate express authorisation. We may first provide selected specialists with a limited project summary that excludes your exact address and direct contact information. Protected details are released only under the applicable platform access rules. We may provide your contact, property and project details to suitable specialist partners so they can contact you about that enquiry. Specialist partners are independent businesses. Granny Flat Quotes may receive payment from partners for qualifying enquiries or exclusive territory participation. Any quote, site visit, contract or building work is between you and the specialist, and the specialist's own terms will apply.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images and code, belongs to Granny Flat Quotes or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Granny Flat Quotes is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website, reliance on any information provided, or any decision made based on a property check.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated terms.
